I visited the neighbors Panama and it is very much alike! We saw lots of sloths and 1 even we could touch as it hugged a small tree right in front of us. We also saw the giant iguanas and blue Morpho butterflies. I love the wild life and that's why we visited Isla Barro Colorado in the Panama channel which is limiting visitors ( you need permission to visit) and this is packed with animals! We saw the iguanas, howler monkeys ( the black one with their throat sacks ) and capucin monkeys and even ouistiti monkeys which are adorable tiny. We also saw coatimundi the tropical version of raccoon. There were pacas too, We loved the nature and the big trees!

The snake that you saw back at your accommodation is called Speckled Racer. Its scientific name is Drymobius margaritiferus and it’s harmless. Lucky to see one!
