Makes me feel alot better about my park lol. We are country bumpkins but me and my friends got our park built about 14 years ago from complaining and finally getting into city council meetings. I'm old now but makes me feel good that I did something for skateboarding in my community :D

I grew up in western Massachusetts, you can tell that same ramps were used at all the parks they built around mass at that time. They just finally built a newer park in my town after all these years, now that I’m old lol

It's so cool to hear your back story and it's quite similar to mine grew up going to the boys and girls club. And I saw this guy guy skating down the road and I followed him for like 7 blocks and found a skate park in downtown Huntington west Virginia he totally was cool letting me try his board out and taught me how to Ollie's I owe it all to that guy

I live on cape cod mass in Falmouth and our skatepark is over 25 years old I think. It must have been built by the same people because it has some of the same exact ramps. We keep it clean everyday and build new ramps all the time.

Damn, the nostalgia is real! I live in Mass and I spent the summers of my teen years at a park that is very similar to this. The layout and the choice of obstacles at these Mass parks are always a little bit awkward but as you clearly prove, they're still viable training grounds.

Fellow Lowell local! I also grew up in that same Boys and Girls Club and I even work there now, and for the longest time I was riding in that same park! It's awesome to know you started there as well, it was a very big part of my developement and style as I'm sure it was for you. We still have the board you gave the club hanging on the wall in the music clubhouse, and we're absolutely grateful for it Manny Slays All :)

Were you in Lowell still around 2010/2011? I went to middlesex for a semester. Being from Lowell you’ll know the dope 9 stair in front of one of the buildings. I was chillin out front one day between classes. Students everywhere posted up. Some dude comes flying down the street squeezes between everyone and pops the crispiest Ollie I’ve ever seen gaps the stairs and rides away. Dude wasn’t skating spot, wasn’t with anyone. He was just traveling and the stairs were in his way. At the peak of my skating I could probably Ollie that set in a few tries. But those stairs were an absolute joke to dude. I found out you were from Lowell a few years back. It was 10 years ago or so but my brain is convinced it was you. Anyways great video bro, I’m actually from Lawrence but Hadley in Lowell was my first skatepark. This shit brought me back.
