We need International Airport in South-West of Bangalore (Mysore Road/Magadi Road), the issue with distance to current airport for south and southwest residents will be addressed and it will also be nearer to Dabbaspet, Tumkur etc for cargo movement. Mysore road already have very good infra, Nice Road Connectivity, Mysore Expressway, Metro. Suburban railway and Peripheral Ring Road Part-2 from Hosur Road to Mysore Road is planned, Nice Expressway land can be used to build new expressway.

Bangalore is Growing near Tamil Nadu Border. Bangalore Govt. Should try to spread and equalise the Bangalore population. This will help to reduce traffic congestion. Bangalore North should be further developed instead of South Bangalore where land price are very high. This will ensure 360 Degree Growth in Bangalore and Ring Roads Constructed will be effective in future. Tumkur or Dobaspet International Airport seems to be right decision . One can also catch connecting Flight from existing kempegowda International Airport easily in future. Mysore Wil have another International Airport in future. Bangalore is developing outside existing ring Roads. While Govt. Must try to bring 2nd Airport near the Pheriphery of existing or proposed ring Roads

Yeah, this proposal was taken down because of local kanadigas who wanted Those places you mentioned, to have metro and if possible, airport.
