@@SxintReligion Because he wasn't recruited by any decent schools. He's not tall enough, fast enough, strong enough or athletic enough. I've been a big fan of his. I love the way Manny plays, he has a great understanding of the game and is so smooth on the court but NBA level talent?? No chance. He's 6'3...other players in the NBA around that height are Steph Curry, Chris Paul, Russ Westbrook...you see what I'm getting at? I wish Manny all the best and I hope I'm wrong and he makes it to the NBA, but let's be real, it's not happening. Maybe he can make a living playing overseas.

I cant say he wasnt good enough to play in the league or any league obviously he is good enough for OTB an playing overseas, the kid was flashy an had a nice jumper, good court vision as well.. i can only imagine if he went to college, look at tyler herro, a lot of people said he was slow, shot was inconsistent, etc.. but now he is a 6th man off the bench.. If he went to college gain lil weight, perfected his craft that would be crazy, any league is a league the kid is good overall..

Dude, Puerto Rican League has been around for decades. You have to give a lot of thanks to that league and the players that were New Yorican. They too helped modernize the game. There are guys that played in that league that played in the NBA and vice versa. Phil Jackson, learned to coach down there. Among other things the island’s top sports are baseball, basketball and boxing. They are number 1 in the world in boxing. Per capita they have the most champions in the world. Remember, who beat USA first when they had James and Carmelo on the same Olympic team. Carlos Arroyo iced them and the league then proceeded to punsh him out. Hope this helps inform others about the island.
