Last year, I originally assumed Engage would sweep CYL due to three houses doing so when it first came out. However, I quickly changed my opinion when I realized the hype for Engage characters wasn't just as high as the hype for Three Houses. Personally, it was clear to me we were never going to get a Sweep of Engage characters because people just simply don't care enough for Engage characters.

Well, I was not really surprised. Not even surprised that not even one character showed up. For the male either Sigurd, Alfonse or Felix were about to win, and it's not even close. For the female, Bernadetta and F.Robin were on the top 20 for quite a while and getting a top 5 for the last 2 or 3 CYL. And compare to Three houses who was really well received at release with an amazing story and lots and lots of really loved characters, it wasn't really the case for Engage. The story was meh and only some characters were enjoyable. Sorry if it sound mean or anything but at least I wish you better luck next time even if it will cleary not be a full Engage banner.

I liked engage and I like Ivy and Yunaka but… I’ve put over 1000 hours into three houses and barely 250 hours into engage, and Bernie was my favourite from three houses. Sorry but it’s not close which game was more fun for me. Bernie deserves this more than engage characters do.

At least this is a better outcome for CYL than I was expecting. I was worried it would be Yunaka and Female Robin, but I’m glad to see Bernie getting her place on the banner. I would have been mad if Yunaka became the second character to win because they were a meme while Ivy lost. I’ll definitely pull for Alfonse and Bernie. Maybe Robin if her art is good. Felix isn’t worth my orbs unless I need him for fodder.

Yay so happy they finally added emblems their mechanic is so cool! Marth is awesome hoping for emblem Veronica in future her emblem skill will be so broken xD and skill inheritance was so nice! :)❤ Also sad Sharena didn't win but hopefully next year we can do it really glad for Alfonse he deserves it tbh he's cool and Bernie happy for her too I might pick her since I like her too but not the part of some of her fanbase which are weird and kinda creepy towards her- but yeah I was also abit sad no engage win like it's really surprising not even ivy or diamant hopefully next year doe! :') along with Sharena sweep I was hoping her and her brother would win together but sadly it didn't happen. :'( although excited to see how will they handle brave Alfonse probably king Alfonse with gustav axe?!👀 Also yeah was expecting valentine days silouhette but they didn't do it lol also geniuley hoping ninja Snacki make it to top 4 and be on ahr banner I really would love that for merges! 🙏💖

Male Robin fans =/= Female Robin fans. At least not all of them are fans of the other, but Robin is generally considered the best avatar character in the series, and obviously if you have a preference for f Robin your not gonna be satisfied with m Robin.

@@growingsage Listen I go in the series with awakening.... played a every single one until now. And I regret buying Engage, the mechanics are being praised but I disliked them a lot, models of the emblems that looked like they didnt belong in the game. The very small list of spellbooks and the character skills being basicall limited to the emblem affinity. The monastery section between battles is still there but now more boring and with more loading screens. And If you dont find the mechanics good there is nothing to savage, the characters are the worst ones they have ever made, they are 1 trick ponies that dont develop at all and have really contradicting looks to what is supposedly their backstory. Take yunaka, a fan favourite, she joins you after you find her in a random ruin mid chapter and turns out she is an ex assasin that acts like she is innocent and stupid because she doesnt want to draw attention, yet she has random glittery stickers spread across her hair that stick out like a sore thumb (from where did you get plastic stickers in a medieval fantasy without plastic?), she was randomly strolling in random ruin singing, joins you because you save her and immediately goes back to kill people without question.
