I know skill descriptions have been getting more and more complicated with each new banner, but E!Marth absolutely fried my brain with his special and B skill. And I feel like Lumera is kind of underwhelming as a light mythic, but that might be because the high threat range nukes have become borderline untankable these days.

If we're talking about his base kit then the video is a saving grace. If we're talking about emblems in general, you can engage one hero at a time to enhance their specials and offer stat boosts based on the merges of the emblem unit. Changing the engage can happen anytime, so you don't end up losing the emblem to one unit.

Emblem Marth’s Engage effect is going to be so good with any unit who already has slaying + godlike reflexes. You can basically run Time’s Pulse 4 and effortlessly keep it up as a 1CD special. Definitely pulling for one copy of him to Engage with Legendary Dimitri since Null guard means he can always ready it again after hitting back

I'm honestly stoked for Emblems from Engage to join feh. While it is weird to have another hero type after we got attuned heroes, and not so many, it feels like they really stepped it up with how strong the Emblems could be and how they can help heroes with the engage feature. Also, Emblem Marth is a pretty strong unit as is, so I hope to summon him.

I like how the description of Marth’s kit was like 10 whole minutes of: He gets A effect and he also gets B effect and he also gets C effect…. and so on and so on. That unit is cracked, he comes with every single effect a infantry unit might want and then some. Only thing he might want that is not on his default kit is TP4 and he can easily run that and outsource the NFU.

Giving Lumera a Ruse 4 is a little odd, considering she isn't a unit who gets another action after rally, and she already was bringing us Atk/Spd Scowl. Think I'll give her a good dragon B skill and just stick to Heather for my Ruse 4 setup in Light/Dark season.

Like I said in the previous video, this is most likely from the lack of Engage content we got from feh, so they did something to cook up for the Engage fans, and, honestly, I'm happy they took the time to do this for us. I honestly think you're underselling the value of Mythic Gotoh for Light Season omnitanks because nearly no one else gives the AoE DR support he gives and because for a low mobility team struggling to reach the amphorae, his ability to take hits in a pinch is valuable.

Embla exists and pre-combat dmg exists, so supports are nonexistent and the bulk is moot when he's chunked down to half his health before the actual atk.

@@reishiki8682 Pre-combat damage literally only became meta last month, and Embla doesn't do shit against Gotoh's Gift of Magic support because that's a visible bonus effect. Moreover, I'm not insane enough to use him to tank Legendary Camilla, Hinoka, or any of them, but at the end of the map, he can be the perfect bait unit to lure physical dancers or the left over straggler unit while you race to get the pots. That, and having AoE damage reduction is still quite important. Your answer to pre-combat damage can be someone else.

I don't think the decreased difference is reflected in your analysis accurately because it implies a slow unit can also use Potent 4's full potential, which I'm confident is not the case. Unless I'm mistaken, the skill check would be as follows: If Marth has 50 Spd and the target has 45 Spd or less (difference of at least 5 in Marth's favor), Marth would trigger a follow-up attack. Potent 4 checks if Marth can still perform a follow-up attack if the difference in Spd to make that theoretical follow-up is 30 (ergo, it assumes Marth can double if Marth has 50 Spd and the target has 20 Spd or less). If this criteria is met, THEN Potent Follow X% will trigger.

Another idea is Holy pressure on fallen maria or any staff with acceleration already. With emblem effect she gets -2 special acceleration and then give her time pulse and Lets her spam powerful gravity specials on enemy and kite them

Marth granting cd-1 is going to open up a whole can of worms for miracle looping. Luckily (?) Duo sanaki is so popular right now I dont think miracle looping will come back for a while, but a weapon like w!byleths on a speedy unit with special spiral could loop miracle more easily than ever. Wait no, I just had an epipheny. W!dimitri. When he has 4 statuses, he gets cd-3. With a base -1 and marths further -1 that's a guaranteed miracle every time with no weakness to tempo or anything and doing it enemy phase means no scowl either. Still weak to flash status but it's only a matter of time before that can be driven to allies or given as a status... Also weak to duo thorr removing statuses or being outsped but both of those are pretty hard especially if he gets one combat off and inflicts his debuffs

If starting new account can just pull reds on banner and then +10 fir and marth then engage on fir (doesnt sacrafice marth so have 2 nice +10 heroes) that way she can stack acceleration wtih weapon and use godlike reflexes and she has time pulse 4 built in her weapon too... so many things can do with marth can see feh spending whales +10ing marth just for +4 stats on a op hero like winter byleth the acceleration is great too though and only need 1 copy

I just tried it battle sim and it works holy pressure activates first attack can be really op for staff units stack the acceleration effect for gravity spam with holy pressure. Safy is pretty good user for it since she has acceleration on weapon, follow ups and highest ranked attack stat for nukes. Fell Maria works too

Marth emblem engage is also nice on legendary ike he can finally spam radiant aether 2 (using special spiral 4) and he has counter on weapon so can go atk def finish or something a slot. Special has -2 cd start of turn which actually ends up perfect so he can run other skills c slot and seal instead of time pulse and quickened

Id say irs definitely worth getting 1 copy of e marth as its free acceleration on special for your favourite hero if engage them. +10 would be best but thats be so many orbs for like +3 stats. E marth alone is pretty strong too so would also get a nice hero as well

Its cool!!! His acceleration special effect works on engage partner even if he isnt on the team. Lets heroes like Lucina use her unique weapon with time pulse spam with vital astra cause of the accelerated special effect which she cant get on her unique weapon and e marth doesnt even have to be on team with her

I'm doubtful of the fodder rating when it'll only work for fast dragon units... that has to have decent res. When most nukes even have high-ish res just to run debuffing C skills that tanks the value and only makes it extremely niche.

I feel Gotoh should be tier 3 or tier 2. He's very useful not only for helping a defensive team, but his combat prowess against ranged units that don't rely on DR piercing is really good. Not to mention having a built-in Null C-Disrupt.
