Alex Debogorski is an American trucker and reality star, best known from History Channel's hit reality TV show Ice Road Truckers. Alex was born August 4 1953, in Berwyn, Alberta in a cave north of Figure Eight Lake, to Polish parents, Irene and Stanley Debogorski who emigrated from Britain. Before becoming the famous truck driver, Alex had worked several jobs. He was a taxi driver, club bouncer, oil rigger, coal miner, and coal and diamond prospector. In 2006, the Ice Road Truckers crew went to the Northwest Territories in search of someone with a captivating personality. After meeting with Alex, they decided that he would be the perfect asset to the group. The show's concept portrayed people's lives as they risk their lives, transporting supplies over frozen water on a heavy vehicle. The show Ice Road Truckers aired on History Channel on June 17, 2007. Besides Alex, the show has also featured drivers including Lisa Kelly, Hugh Rowland, and Art Burke. The TV star had left the show in its second season due to pulmonary embolism but joined shortly after. Today let's find out what he has been doing since.
