WHERE IS KEITH RELF BURIED?

My Dad asked me (when I was 20) what happened to everyone in The Yardbirds. I told him that the lead singer Keith Relf died in 1976 after being electrocuted while using his guitar at home.
Years later I'm in London and searching for where Keith is buried. For many years he had no tombstone, until his family had put one up in the last 5 years.
Keith is buried at Richmond Cemetery. Not far from the famous Bromhead Memorial. Just make sure you take the main entrance, otherwise you'll be walking through Richmond Park.

Thanks for this. I met Keith in 1965 and saw the Yardbirds with Jeff beck. The memory has stayed with me, and I'm now 70!

I should have visited Keith many years ago. But I thank my Dad for giving me some encouragement to go visit Keith.

My favourite band in the sixties too. Ignited my interest in R&B and onto the Blues Left us too soon

I was in high school in the '70's and I remember when Clapton released "Slowhand" I thought "Oh, he's dong music for old people now ." lol Keith was a sorely underrated Harmonica player and fantastic front man. His voice was very limited though , probably because of asthma

I think the limitations of his voice made him different. Other singers like Paul Jones or Steve Marriott often sounded fake. Ironically, I was talking to a guy who played harmonica in a band who reckoned Keith’s asthma probably helped his playing. His soloing was very avant garde
