I personally think that he is alive and is not dead. As we know he did not get killed cuz we "cheated" and it was unfair to just kill him to mommy long legs so she let him be obviously. And the place he might be rn is probably just looking around and wondering how long the tunnels go until he finds a new "bone" to chew on. As in a player.

The PJ in the shrine is really obviously not the actual PJ due to the size and the definitive argument to show that's not THE PJ You see, there's a human skeleton in his mouth, and human bodies takes 5 YEARS decomposing until it becomes a whole skeleton, so, yep That shrine has been there for quite a long time now

My theory is that there are 2 PJs one that is the one of Chapter 2 and the other is a prototype of PJ because it is smaller and his body is ALL blue (except for his head), the second PJ is the one that got killed by CatNap and the one that appears in the video of Bron.

Ok here is my theory and I have to explain something before I talk about pj So I think in chapter 5 we do something in the deeper parts of the factory burning it or causing it to collapse So chapter 6 will be us going back through where we have been in the past and trying to get back up to the exit before the factory collapses and kills us So maybe we go back to the game station and pj attacks us there

dumb theory but i think that each area has atleast 1 bigger body and a bunch of smaller ones as the bigger body is in charge and if they die the smaller ones will be hunted down by the prototype cuz the bigger body cant defend of the prototype or simple put they have a deal and once the die deals off for example huggy was alone cuz the prototype liked him and left him alone where with long legs she was defending the huggys bunzo and pj so when she died pj dipped knowing he was on the hit list

Little theory : I know this might be weird but I think pj pug a piller might help us in the fight of the prototype since he might change his mind or he could be included in the fight and be betrayed by the prototype then the prototype takes him and makes him a part of himself and uses pj as his final weapon like after he is killed and he uses pj to make him his new hand and finially almost defeats us but then we get cut off like a cliff hanger so we have to wait for chapter 5
