Thanks for the time & effort putting this together. I used to puzzle over why the Andromeda Galaxy was moving towards us if all things were inflating away from us. The AI Claude solved this for me with the following answer... "The observation that Andromeda is blue-shifted (moving towards the Milky Way) rather than red-shifted is not actually a contradiction to the cosmological principle that everywhere appears to be the centre of the universe. This seeming paradox can be explained through two key concepts: Local Gravitational Interactions The cosmological expansion of the universe operates on very large scales, but at smaller scales - like within galaxy clusters or between nearby galaxies - gravitational attraction can overcome the universal expansion. Andromeda and the Milky Way are part of the Local Group of galaxies, where gravitational forces are strong enough to cause mutual attraction. Peculiar Velocity While the universe is expanding on a grand scale, individual galaxies have their own "peculiar velocities" - motion relative to the cosmic background. The cosmological principle that "everywhere is the centre" refers to the large-scale, homogeneous and isotropic nature of the universe, not to the specific motions of individual galaxies or galaxy clusters."

Anything moving in our direction faster than space is expanding will beat the outward movement. Space expands further as gains more distance and Andromeda just isn't far enough away to defeat that. And since dark energy only started speeding the expansion of space about 5 billion years ago, who knows, the direction may change again. More questions than answers regarding these topics.

Glad to hear it. It's a deep concept. But it's a principle more than a fact. Who knows, new discoveries tomorrow could prove it wrong.

Great video! I think you are totally right that with the most recent inventions just makes us start to understand how the universe MAY work. I am sure that as many theories needed to be scrapped by the observations of JWST even more of its findings will need to be put to the bin once the next generation is out in space to make scientific analysis. It is very difficult from my point of view to think about the unverse's size, that it expands everywhere, each place is somewhat the center and what might be beyond what we can observe with best instruments mankind has build. My brain totally shuts down at the questions why universe exists, where it exists and what is beyond its edge/ outer shell. Getting into the multiverse theory I try to avoid as our own space is already too much for my brain. Nevertheless I love taking photos of the beauty that we can capture with our cameras and telescopes. Looking up there is making a warm, beloved and being secured feeling. It is like this "coming home" feeling after a long trip when I look up into the night sky. I know we are not alone and that when I look up there, there is someone or somewhat that is also looking up seeing our solar system or our galaxy.

Beautifully put. For my part, I don't think answers are in multiverse theory, either. If there is a multiverse, it still beggars the question: Where did it come from?

Good and interesting video. The basis for this is the big bang theory. Theory that, like every theory, will eventually change or just be replaced. Everything being at the center is nonsensical! From what reference point ? Although interesting like a science fiction novel, I certainly don’t rely on science for truth. Physical evidence is not without the spiritual, and we as humans are finite in understanding. Some things are just too wonderful to comprehend.

I always hesitate with cosmology because it is basically educated guesses. But it is working with the best information thus far. One of the great things about the cosmos is we'll spend forever trying to understand it.

It looks like universe expantion is fractal, where from any point in the cosmos, intergalactic space expansion is roughly equal in all directions. Fractals are isotropic and any point can be its center. Cheers for the video.

That is true . . . maybe . . . insofar as we presently know lol But we don't know what's beyond 46 billion ly away, or what's beyond the edge of the universe, or what makes dark energy or matter, or if they are real, or even what particles really more. In point of fact, there are really more questions than answers, but that's how good science works. It keeps asking questions, and the questions raise more questions.
