‘Where is the money being spent?’: Jacinta Price calling for answers into Alice Springs funding

Shadow Indigenous Australians Minister Jacinta Price is calling for answers into the millions of dollars of funding which was to be used to tackle youth crime in Alice Springs.
“There’s been calls from our mayor, from locals, from people on the ground for an understanding and an audit into the millions of dollars that have been spent here already,” Ms Price told Sky News Australia.
“15 months ago, the Prime Minister was shamed into visiting Alice Springs, making an announcement of $250 million.
“But what did the $250 million- now $300 million do in order to stop the riot that took place on our streets?
“This is what we need to understand - where is the money being spent?”

Grants appeal to corporate climbers because the remuneration for each person on a 'project' is arbitrary. Why not categorised remuneration and standard 'packages', where funds will always be spent on 75% of the project, the rest is a wage, for a time frame where accountability is real-time. Fund-getters (not all), but most, haven't spent a night on a mission in a while...if they did and had to stay and see, they may, in fact, have, 'real-time reactions", and REAL-Time Solutions. It is similar to govt charging carbon tax when the math doesn't even exist to calculate it, yet. The funding has been massive though! A worthy project is not a Fictitious programme, run by ironed shirts. Govt employment for the indigenous communities can be massive if the grant money went to jobs for people in the community, set in traditional ways, that link each person to a major city and services, instead of being literally marginalised. A traditional blueprint for communities can become one that actually involves those in society. Statistics are very revealing of outcomes, and some towns are doing it, these are good examples of making change, they need to be the blueprint.
