it's so silly. they can't even cry it's for sales reasons, when chiori got a rerun before him. wriothesley was also set up by being squashed between neuvillete and the archon (so they can't even really assess how well his banner will do). i just started the game a little before his banner so i didn't know how much i liked him when his banner was running and now its been over 400 days since he last ran. have been saving my guarantee for him since 4.8... (might get citlali, then continue to save...)

There are two reasons I think he is not getting a rerun 1. Community reaction when he came out was poor 2. They keep thinking they are going to use him in the story but always end up using another character so he just keeps getting pushed back

the sad part is that he got better sales than chiori's and linneys banner, but they both got a rerun before him (liney got even 2 banners like neuvi) Its kinda sad, and tbh i am not sure if they gonna make on his rerun alot of money bcs like i was planning to pull him c6 at 4.7/4.8 (i have him c1r1 and though he would rerun at late 4.x patches 😂) so i basicly had to buy crystals to make it happen, but rn i have 450+ pulls (i started saving from 4.6) and he 99% wont be in 5.3 so thats another 100+ pulls, hope he is gonna be in 5.4 but even if he is gonna be in 5.4 like i wont buy any crystals i have almost enough to guarantee a c6, and there are so much more people just saving around 120 pulls just in case he is gonna rerun, its just kinda sad that people cant get the character they are waiting for so long, bcs like i started playing 2 weeks before his release bcs i rlly liked him, and i am still playing only bcs i like the character, but i hope he is gonna be in 5.4

Its the curse of Cryo. If you don't get them on release then you better pray the Tsarista is in a good mood otherwise you aint seeing them anytime soon

I was one of those people that lost my 50/50 on Wriothesley banner. Then I thought I should save it for the hydro archon and get Wriothesley towards the end of Fontaine. Worst choice ever. Wriothesley was the one character I had been wanting since the start of Fontaine during its trailer. I should’ve just went for him. That had been the first time I even went for “meta” over a character I really wanted. Well I learned my lesson. Never again. I’m sitting here and still waiting for him and it’s pain. I will skip the pyro archon for his rerun whenever that shall be. I will bring him home eventually. 😮‍💨

not only him.. the ones who vanished for over a year: shenhe 611 days (3.5); ganyu 569 days (3.6); kokomi 485 days (3.8); tartaglia 443 days (4.0); venti and wriothesley 401 days (4.1); the ones getting close to a year: ayato and cyno 359 days (4.2); ayaka 338 days (4.3); yoimiya 317 days (4.3) after that, are the ppl below 275 days.. and don't forget the 4*: sayu 443 days (4.0); chongyun 401 days (4.1); charlotte 380 days (4.2) after that, are the ppl below 254 days.. and I agree, triple banners and an epitomized path for the 4* from within the banner.. and the survey is on in the game, don't forget to suggest that..

Honestly I dont think the others are as important because they have gotten mutliple banners, this guy only got one. Hopefully those others also come back soon but I want my wriothesley.

I have almost all of them, but that doesn't mean I don't care if they don't rerun.. there are ppl who started playing the game after their last banner, and didn't get a chance to pull for any of them.. and there are ppl who had to skip one of them bc they didn't have the resources, or had limited resources and needed to prioritize another character.. yes, I can see your point bc he didn't get a single rerun yet, and I agree with that, however, we also need to take a panoramic view of the issue.. and just as a reminder, since shenhe's last appearance, hoyo launched 2 new games.. and launched an outfit for her and ganyu, both of which didn't rerun yet.. so, triple banners and an epitomized path for the 4* from within the banner, and logic in the reruns (bc hoyo doesn't understand the concept of logic), and everybody can rerun at least twice a year..

Wrio & Shenhe inherited Eula's curse. Cryo - the Element of Neglect (by Hoyo). I have him C1/R1, cause I suspected something like this would happen (and none of the other Fontaine characters seemed fun to play with as he did).

a hidden "problem" with Wriothesley's banner was that Neuvillette wanted a c1 so he didn't need a shield. Then Wriothesley wanted his c1 for avoid the weird damage hurdles for his health bar. Both characters have a significant damage bump from their BIS weapon as well, where other 5 star catalysts are about the same or worse than a craftable. Random Skyward Atlas from a 50/50 loss is great for a 5 character!? Sort of, it only does 2% more damage than the Fontaine r5 craftable and 4% more than a r5 Widsth that many people already have leveled up. Neuvillette wants HP of course, can't borrow Kagura's Verity. This is opposed to many sword users, like Alhaitham, who can make use of Haran/Mistsplitter/Jade Cutter that might already be on a players account and still see 15% more damage compared to a 4 star weapon. They both want a lot of wishes, but with Wriothesley's position in the banner lineup he had no chance.

@@musemintsvloghaulreactions1460 this is purely hopium, especially for wriothesley If you look back a Fontaine no other hydro characters got better they just released 2 broken hydro characters, natlan so far has focused on the reaction and that only helped pyro a little since most of them are dps characters. If you mean just the element in general then sure we are going to see some great ones but none of the characters right now (except shenhe) have a chance of becoming better.

Best team is Wrio (dps) shenhe (best cryo support) bennet (attack buff +melt) kazuha (best grouping , em buff, infuses pyro, instant buff)

The total users on akashi record depends on the configuration cuz if u were to put arle 200 er(is not an option btw) u were prob 1/1 so the 90k wrio users are all users who also have 110 er like u, same with the 400k neuvs with 110 er

yeah, and the high configuration of participants is under 150k for Wriothesley. It's still a far cry from Arlecchino's numbers. If we want to compare him to a non-harbinger, Clorinde is at 184k. Definitely closer in numbers but shows how many people skipped Wriothesley because his banner positioning.

I luckily have his C1 but... well.... I'm pretty much f2p (besides like 4 welkins in my YEARS of playing since 1.6.) and I am saving for his C6 R1 since hes my favourite character. I have 481 wishes rn I did not skip everyone, I got Furina, Nahida, Alhaitham, lost 50/50 on Nilou... It's very frustrating not to be able to get him for this long and I'm afraid I'm going to have to skip both Mavuika (even though I collect Archons) and Citlali (my fav Natlan character) because I think (hope) he's coming soon

I tend to be very unlucky (330 pulls on Baizhu just to get his C1, Mona and Qiqi, or my 2 50/50s wins EVER) so I really don't believe I'll get his C6 R1 until his idk 3rd or even 4th banner

Man! I'm sorry, but Wriothesley still doesn't have any characters to make him shine. Furina steals his reactions, you have to apply cryo a lot for Xilonen to crystallize it and activate her buff, and Emilie doesn't even buff. And I'm sure that neither Mavuika nor Citlali will be of much use to him. All that's left is to pray for Snezhnaya.

No I think youre wrong about Furina and Xilonen, with furina you still melt on his charge attacks on a Wrio/Xiangling/Bennett/Furina team and Xilonen only takes 1 normal at the begining of the rotation. Emilie provides a lot of off field damge while also allowing burn to work.
