Go get em... Please take a few minutes to spread this message, tell friends, family and let people know what is happening to farmers and ranchers. When I first learned of COOL and told people I got looks that said "there is no way this can be happening" but believe it. You can vote for those that support COOL, you can call your congressman and representatives but after sharing the truth the biggest thing you can do is vote with your pocketbook. Money is what really makes change, and when those that control COOL see that people care, then that will create change! Thank you for watching!

Thanks for making this video Mike! This is such an important issue right now for American Ranchers! Folks, like Mike said share this video, talk about it with family and neighbors, call your politicians and ask them what they’re going to do to fix this terrible law! We deserve the right to know where our beef is coming from, and the American Rancher deserves to be able to market the product they put their blood, sweat, and tears into, as THEIR product, and not some knockoff from Brazil! Let’s be the change, and help out one of the most poked and prodded industry’s in our country!

You did a similar video some time ago and I did my research because of that. It was interesting to see that my local stores had no clue where they were getting the beef from. Keep spreading the word Mike. I also watch Arms Family Homestead. He raised his own beef and also raises his own goats. His message is if people can, and have the room to do it, to raise your own food. From greens to goats to beef. It's made me realize how uninformed we are, and what we are putting into our bodies. Your message for consumers is awesome. I hope you continue to prosper in getting your message out like you have done for me. Thank you.

I have good friends in Alberta’s feedlot industry, they feed out calves from the Parker Ranch in Hawaii. They also feed out Alberta cattle, owned by American investors that are exported to the USA. Point of origin labeling is extremely important but we also have to retrain consumers in to thinking about prices and NOT thinking cheap is better. Spend less on frivolous items and don’t be afraid to invest in top quality, born, grown and fed in the US beef. Our cheap food expectations are killing us with unhealthy cheap food. Thank you Mike and Erin for and excellent view into food production at its base.

I always watch this channel . I like it . Some information about cattle , farms and forests in Brazil . 60% of Brazil in covered by forests . The highest rate in the world . I don´t know about USA , I think is about 20% . A half of Brazil is Amazon and other half is other kind of vegetation . About Amazon : 83% of original amazon is preserved . 17% was turned into farms . What is the limit ? There is a law in Brazil that forces us to preserve 80% of amazon . If you want to buy a farm in Amazon you must work in only 20% of your farm . 80% need to be preserved . This law is impossible to change . Depend the parliament and 99% of Brazilian people agree to this law . In the first semester a group of farmers from Texas was in Brazil in order to buy land . Unfortunately they gave up on business . The said our enviromental laws are very restrictive . Thanks to everyone .

Outstanding video! I live on a small farm in VA that participates in a BQA (Beef Quality Assurance) program. Buy local when you can. Our cows are taken good care of and, if I might add, are delicious!

For traceability you need a system to track each animal via its tag. This has to be a rigorous system which will place the administrative burden on the farmer

Actually, COOL was effectively implemented from early 2013 through 2015 without a mandatory identification system. It relied on producer affidavits and a presumption of domestic origin (any animal not bearing a permanent foreign import marking can be none other than exclusively born and raised in the United States). Thank you very much for watching - Mike

I am from New Zealand and we sell beef to the USA, I think there is some kind of quota we can sell to you guys every year. Our beef is just about a 100% grass feed. I support your Campaign to have country of origin labelling, every one should know where their food comes from no matter what country your from!

I worked for a grocery chain forty-five years ago at my first job that received all of its beef from Australia. I still remember unloading those large frozen solid boxes from pallets into the freezer.

I was born and bred in the USA, my cars and trucks have always been built in the US, even the big ones like International & Freightliner. On top of that I live in a small town in the country, I usually buy beef by the side, I raise my own chickens and trade some of them for pork from my neighbor. To answer the question, yeah... I know...

Barley fed Canadian beef is better quality that’s why US plaint pay more for it. They export lower quality US beef and sell higher quality Canadian beef to America’s

I didn’t say our practises where better. I said our finished product is better. We use the same products they use in the US. But we have better genetics and feeding practises. All drugs are tested and proven to be safe.

USA USA USA! I’m very picky about where and how my food comes from and is raised. Dagnabbedit. Kroger, which I never enter, sells Chinese catfish in...MISSISSIPPI! The Catfish Capitol® of USA! An insult. My choice is 100% born, raised, fed, prepared in USA!! I’ll pay.

... Do you really think the New Zealand government is telling you the truth? I think not... Governments are nothing but infested with "politicians and politics"... In fact, if you break the word "politics" down... This is what get: 'poli', meaning many and 'tics' , meaning blood suckers... Many Blood Suckers, that is what you'll find in all governments in one form or another... ... Nevertheless, New Zealand does have some tasty lamb. In the meantime, thank you for your time... Fred C.

YT algorithms wont let you find the videos in your search. Believe me. They are on here

I buy my beef and pork from an online seller who sells US born and raised beef. The company also sells beef from one other country and all this beef is under a different label to let the consumer know. I had know idea about the issue discussed in this video, so thanks for the info and it looks like I got lucky when I picked my meat supplier years ago.
