Tried one at Burger King it was really great. I was disappointed it was over 5.75 (with cheese) but it was really filling. The more they sell will help drive the price down, and eventually they'll probably only be a couple bucks. If every fast food restaurant has a vegetarian or vegan sandwich choice like this our world would be a much less polluted place and of course we will all be a lot healthier too.

Just fyi to all you viewers, the impossible burger ISN'T new. The restaurant I worked at in Asbury Park, NJ was selling them for at least the last year. Same goes for beyond burger...also VERY good. Before you judge, I'd say give it a taste because it was very popular. A lot of meat eaters even agreed so 🤷 say what you want....but don't be so judgemental until you try.

The prices are coming down, slowly, as more consumers choose the verge burger and economies are raked in. But the meat/non-meat issue is not just a matter of a few cents or even dollars more this way or that way. It's about the future of our planet and what we are liable to leave our kids.

@Eric Rivera Most veggie burgers are also too high in added fats from oil. I like tofu, but for a healthy burger substitute, my choice is tempeh. It doesn't taste like meat, but the texture is better for sandwiches. I have come to like the taste. Saitan has good texture too.

@C C Hard to use that line on Uber Christians who say God gave Man Dominion over Beasts/Animals have no souls and therefore can't be "innocent"/God made animals to be eaten (He even listed the forbidden animals which shows He approves of breeding and eating certain ones) and He made carnivores/omnivores hunt herbivores/omnivores/frugivores/insectivores. That eating meat isn't Man's will but God's Will - He turned off the carnivore instinct when Noah ferried the animals and turned it back on so they could live the way He intended them to live. My sister is a Buddhist Vegan and she says it is better to get their mind off the animal altogether and give them something better tasting or healthier and cheaper. Push for studies on cost of health care, illness susceptibility and other tangible social and monetary results for each group so that it becomes a favorable lifestyle issue and not a moral issue as morality is subjective. (Also, being Pro-Choice, supporting the "innocence" angle would make me a hypocrite as "innocence" is a VERY subjective ideology.)
