Fly with us into busy Gillespie Field Airport on Runway 27R. The approach between two hills, parallel traffic and constant radio calls can make this one hectic approach.
West Transient Parking can be found west of the Hangar Homes. There is plenty of transient parking with chain tie downs.
Self-serve avgas is available and adjacent to the Gillespie Field Café (highly recommended). Full-service fuel is also available through the two FBOs on field; Circle Air Group and Golden State Aviation.

Under 12,499 lbs - $5
Over 12,500 lbs - $1 per 1,000 lbs MTOW
Fly into KSEE and hop on the San Diego Trolley (across the street from West Transient Parking) and explore San Diego without the hassle of driving or the expense of flying into Lindbergh: www.sdmts.com/...

Fun fact they’re not allowed to live in those. The city mad about it actually as things weren’t built properly. It’s a mess. They are cool though.

I’ve been in one before. Really nice living quarters. It’s basically a 3 bed 2 bath house with a hangar for a garage. I didn’t know you weren’t “supposed to live in them” because all them are used as residences. They even have a Spear Hangar Home Housing Association”.

@@TomCook1993 yeah, they’re a living quarters only. I have a hangar there. I stay in it sometimes. I want one of the those hangar homes though one day if it comes up. I will love in it too lol
