It has to be hard for Ed or anyone with dementia to have their mind go back and forth to remembering and forgetting something but he does say certain things very distinctly that he knows and as always, Danielle, you can see that he absolutely adores you and cares so much about you but when you tell him “Yep that’s the guy that I’m married to, aren’t I the lucky one??” and Ed says, very appropriately “I don’t know what’s going on” 😂

Grandpa has dementia, but his intelligence is very evident in moments of lucidity. Danielle, I 😢am amazed that he notices everything concerning how hard you work. He notices when you’re tired and will tell you that you need to rest. Grandpa loves and cares for you.
