I love the Roosters and the Raiders, and I recognize they're both working with a lot of newer guys and will need to find their groove so this year might not be that flash. Who knows tho, maybe the Raiders weird luck will hit the jackpot this year. As long as neither are wooden spoon, I think I'll live. I'm really praying Teddy doesn't get injured though.

The 2025 season should be one of the closest for a long time. The Storm, Panthers, Bulldogs, or potentially Broncos (if they buy in to Maguires style) could win it. Even the Sharks could be thereabouts. Roosters will struggle in the first couple of months without Walker, so will depend how they finish the year. The wooden spoon will really depend on injuries to key players. The Tigers will improve, but the ? about them is Benji as coach, and how quickly he can bring the new players together. I'm a Dragons fan, but I really couldn't pick where they'll finish. I have ? over the halves, no change to a forward pack that didn't really step up last year, and depth. Hopefully SFlan can bring them together, but wouldn't surprise me if they go worse than '24.

Personally I think sharks are more of a chance than dogs for ‘25. With the Dragons I think their depth has improved in terms of the fact the forwards they’ve got coming through are all a year older, Couchman boys, Tonga, Egan, Stewart will all be pushing for first grade minutes in ‘25 and I wouldn’t be surprised if the forward pack looks very different from round 1 to round 27

@trademarksports I agree, but the Dragons depth is mostly rookies. We really needed to strengthen our front row because there's very little impact there at the moment. Pasifiki Tonga could certainly develop into that role, but unlikely in his rookie season as a 19 or 20 year old. Might just be my bias, but I really question if Hynes is the star the Sharks need him to be to win a comp.

I think for the cowboys my biggest worry is the centres I love Laybutt but the other centre position is wide open I like our depth in the forwards I expect finals in 2025

While they probably won't do as well without Luai, Taruva, etc, their formula (coaching, team congruence) is still top-notch, and if Ivan Cleary can manage to make up for the guys they've lost, kudos to them. They're not suddenly gonna be way down the ladder. lol.

@@Erizedd- bro , I’m tipping Panthers to win it again , your dealing with a team in 2025 that has 6 players who have played 5 grand finals and won 4 , 2 players who have played 4 grand finals and won 3 , 2 players who played 2 grand finals and won 2 and a couple who won their first . The finals experience will be too much for any team .
