I’ve already got the image of Deceit just swaying and rocking baby Thomas to sleep while the others just listen in the hallway. The twins kinda just look at each other like they know EXACTLY where they’ve heard that song before; Patton’s just over the moon at the fact that Deceit knows this sweet of a lullaby and that he’s using it for Thomas; Logan’s.... reeling over how well Deceit can actually sing because what the heck?! ; And Virgil can’t help but wonder if Deceit is talking about someone specific in that song.... Tbh The real lyrics at the end is supposed to be talking about a mother but when Deceit sings it he is interpreting themself. How I see this is like Deceit is a “unwanted” character of the light sides and maybe Thomas was under the care of the light sides and occasionally Deceit would come singing to him when he cries. When he sings the final last parts he is telling Thomas that he is gone but not forgotten he his try to tell that, so I was thinking deep that Deceit is just as caring as the others but they never trusted him because for what he is and now he take opportunities to bond with Thomas at night thru singing lullaby’s and tell him he is always there for him just not physically TBH YOUR VOICE IS AMAZING!!! YOU ARE GOING TO KILL ME WITH PARENT DECEIT!!!

When I was listening to this, I saw all of the Sides waking up because of Thomas's crying and Deceit like rushs into Thomas's room to calm him down. The other sides at the door, staring in awe as Deceit sings this song. When the song was done and when Deceit left the room, he looks at the Sides and said, "What?" to them. They just pointed at Thomas's door (which was now closed). Deceit understood what they meant and said "I'm full of surprises, everyone." The other Sides then said, "Okay then" as they walked back to their rooms. Then Deceit looks back at the door. "I think we're special to Thomas. Who knows what the future will bring for ALL of us." He said, before going into his room.

I was wondered of why Deceit would sing this song, but it just hit me. He's feeling lost. He probably had a hard past. He was probably grew up with the Dragon Witch (Creativity may have made her/him when Thomas was younger) that's probably how he got to use his 'be quite' power. He had to help the Light Sides with the Creativity twins, even if he had to take Remus to the Dark Sides. And losing Virgil to the Light Sides made him feel broken ( because he probably was the first Side to meet him). This song is about him, being lost. He wants Thomas to know that he is still around, loves, and cares for him and everyone else. Even if Thomas may not remember it.
