To short. Also would be good to see how they designed the TFs in the 80s, without computers and designing softwares (and still managed to make the best ones)

It’s so different how the models are made now with everything being from 3D prints. While Hasbro still has the workshop still on site where sculptors used to do models by hand out of clay and Bondo(yup that stuff for patching cars), not much happens in there now.

That Beast Hunters Optimus Prime is an awesome toy. That was my son's generation of Transformers and its still a firm favourite now with his younger sister and her even little-er sister too. Solid design, easy to play with, chunky, bright colour palette, fun gimmick. I think Hasbro's place amongst the toy-making giants is deserved, their creative teams deliver excellent works of art that are turned into some of the most fun toys imaginable. You don't have to be a toy nerd (like me) to see appreciate the excellent sculpts and engineering of their Transformers or the colours of their Power Rangers six-inch figures. Star Wars figures have never looked better than the modern ones do, the animatronics of that Elmo is a thing of beauty, they captured the movements of that annoying little toe rag wonderfully its no secret as to why children delight in it so much. ....If we could just smash capitalism and find a more sustainable way of making such products things would be super-duper.

“Culture has evolved,” Kimberly Boyd, Hasbro’s senior vice president of global brands, told Fast Company. “Kids want to be able to represent their own experiences. The way the brand currently exists - with the ‘Mr.’ and ‘Mrs.’ - is limiting when it comes to both gender identity and family structure.”

I find this interesting, yet Hasbro still can not figure out distribution between Target, and Wal-Mart, and continues to make the toys in a hostile country, because they have outsourced American jobs, just to "save money" while being in a country that couldn't care less about the environment, or child or slave labor laws, and yet continue to produce them while selling out the current figures because of distribution, scammers, and scalpers that totally ruin collecting, and yet can not make vehicles for G I Joe, yet fans are making the vehicles by 3D Printers.
