Apart from your friend David (‘s Been Here) no other people on this planet eat with as much gusto as the two of you. The great thing I really like is that you choose to eat what I would eat so after one if your videos, I break out my take-out brochures and try to find something similar to what you have just devoured! (Last week I had delivered from Toronto’s Korea Town, some seafood pancakes. - just glorious) Anyway, thank you, happy travels and return to us safely. Cheers Colin. (Now where can I find cheesey seafood?)
@samuelandaudrey3 жыл бұрын
LOL, thank you, Colin! One of our favourite aspects of travel is getting to eat our way around a new destination and sampling the local dishes. I'm glad you enjoyed the Korean pancakes last week. If you enjoy cooking at home, risotto is not too hard to make (just takes patience!) and you could substitute the king crab with local fish or seafood. 😊

Good suggestion, Tom. Most of our meals in Ushuaia were around $10-15 per person. It's a bit pricier than the capital (where you can eat for $5-10), but still really great value considering the remote location.

After all these videos I’m convinced that Argentina has lots of great desserts 😍 They don’t let you finish your meal with a simple ice cream or sorbet (normally), they give you cakes you can find at the pastry shop. Am I wrong?
@samuelandaudrey3 жыл бұрын
You can really indulge your sweet tooth in Argentina! I'm not sure an average local would be eating dessert as often as we did though...haha
@francododorico23012 жыл бұрын
I'm not quite sure of what you mean, normally you can have whatever you want. There are some places were you buy a meal that comes with a particular desert like Flan with dulce de leche and you can't change it for another dessert... But that's unussual.

Audrey regularly says things about what and how much Sam eats, etc. I'm sure he doesn't mind as she's his wife.
@horstschlosser70723 жыл бұрын

Love you guys and am really jealous of this adventure, but just a few constructive comments. Usually, your video production is top-notch, but this video was a little ragged. Seems like the image stabilization was not working - very shaky, especially in close zooms. The zooms were also not very smooth and slightly annoying. Some of the close-ups were waaay toooo close! We don't need to see the food specks in Sam's beard or pics of your tonsils as you take a bite. 1080p can be a little unflattering. Hope I'm not being too harsh, but we enjoy watching you guys too much.
