Great bike ride, amazing views.. loved the seafood restaurant, amazing food, super fresh and delicious indeed. Loved all the dishes you had there. Chicken yoy had later on was amazing so crispy, juicy and tender. Fantastic viewsx from the coffee shop view point breathtaking. Wow those lovely crispy fried bannanas so super yummy. I have been to that island, back when I was 25 years old!! 😁 Koh Chang is perhaps the most loveable of the islands in Thailand's to explore there, as it is the most nature-tropical-esque. I certainly would want to live there away from the tourists and be there on my own, and be at peace!! 😊😁

The restaurant where you eat grilled chicken is called Somtam Pak Ma. I'm not sure what they mean. Pak Ma, if translated directly, means the mouth of a dog. But Thai people use it as a slang word to mean someone who likes to speak badly and can be used as an insult. There is a restaurant that uses this name because the owner doesn't speak politely or speaks loudly to customers as a gimmick. Therefore, the restaurant's name has this meaning.😂😂

For the rice shop that orders toppings on rice, as far as I have seen, there is no name of the shop. But there is only the name of the type of food, Khaw kaeng pak tai. Khaw kaeng is the type of restaurant that orders curry toppings on rice. Which is commonly seen throughout the country. Pak Tai means southern. So this type of restaurant is a restaurant that orders curry toppings on rice that focuses on southern curry. If it is a general Khao Kaeng restaurant, there will be normal curry but no Southern curry. If it is a Southern Khao Kaeng restaurant, there will be curry that uses the Southern cooking method or Southern curry paste included. But there are also other normal dishes as well.😊

Normally, Khao Kaeng restaurants will start at 30-50 baht for 1 topping. The price will increase depending on the number of toppings you order. And the price will increase if you ask for more rice. Normally, we will order no more than 3 toppings, not including eggs. If you order a curry with 3 toppings, the price will be around 60-80 per plate.
