This is my hometown. When I was a teenager, I often rode a motorcycle to Bueng Kan and went with my friends. I climbed Phu Tok 6 times. During the rainy season, there are many waterfalls that I went to for a week with my friends. It was really fun. Now I live near Bangkok and rarely go back to Bueng Kan. Thank you, brother. May every day be a beautiful day for you.

Good morning, A-Dam! What a great video to watch while I sipped my morning coffee. Thanks! Recently, I've had a friend comment that my ability to "detach" from the world and situations is remarkable. I guess I have reached level 6 in my climb. It's a whaley good place to be! I love that you giggle at your own puns. It just lends another element to your boyish charm. Never, ever lose your sense of wonder &, seriously, never allow others to deplete your joy. As you can see from the monks, building a "temple" is not easy. Your "temple" is a testament found in your commitment to bring Isaan to those of us who may never get to experience it. Namaste ❤

Very nice VDO as usual and also nice temple. I think the municipal administrative authority should replace thsoe wooden stairs and railings on the cliff with iron ones, like those on Sigiriya's Lion Rock, in Sri Lanka. The old, precarious wooden stairs like in this VDO are so dangerous to climb up to the top. I wouldn't definitely dare risk my life climbing them. I really love the picture of you riding a stick-broom... That's so amazing..HaHaHa

I’m glad you enjoyed the video, but I have to agree, those stairs were terrifying! But I think that’s sort of the point. It was built for the monks to test their faith and concentration…and it definitely tested mine! 🤣 thank you so much for going me in the adventure!

Your video reminded me of the trip with my family and friend to Wat Phu Tok. My mom and aunt waited for me and my friend at level two. 😂 The view was quite different from this video. I went there at the end of the year and the forest down there, I guessed it was rubber plantation, turned into yellow and red . It was so beautiful. I agree with you that being concentrated is the key while walking there. Love your presentation as always. Good job!

What are the local restaurants and lodging options like? Are they expensive 🫰

There’s lots of options from budget up to midrange. In the video I show the town I stayed in about 45 mins away but you can stay closer in one of the smaller towns for very affordable. They also have lots of street food and restaurants in the main town. But overall Isan is the most affordable place in Thailand 🇹🇭

I went to that temple when I was 12-13 years old. Now I'm 36 years old. The stairs were very high and steep at the time, and they kept moving as we walked up.
