The other day, I noticed he was a good bit cheaper than the other frames and bought him right away. If you consider that the reactor and slot cost 40p, Styanax really costs 135. Not too shabby.

Not only all of that to farm for the blueprints, the materials you need to even build the pieces come from mining on the different free roams and void plume quills I think it was for the systems from the zariman, so quite a lot of progression for someone to be able to make him!

You don't need to do veilbreaker you can go to the drifter camp as soon as you finish new war and have access to the star chart again

end game player tip that wants styanax: farm arbitrations, why? we need the plat from selling galv mods, max rank say 3 or 4 sell them for 70..80...60 each, once that's done you'll have enough to buy the frame for plat! and this might take only a few days or just hours, depends on how much you play, way better than the one month grind you might subject yourself into!

Newer players would have to grind days just to unlock Styanax Farm. Then longer to get each of his parts. Hildryn is way easier

@@carterdupuis7046 Never did miss it because Hildryn can be grabbed as soon as you fully unlock Fortuna. Which is around MR2~MR3. To be able to farm Styanax. You gotta unlock the whole star chart and do every junction and quest that leads up to Veilbreaker and farming Styanax which by then you should be around roughly MR7~MR10. Including with the objective craft an MR 5 weapon which will add 12-24 hours. There’s that out of the way. It’ll take a around a month to get every part of Styanax unlocked and bought. Hildryn would take roughly anywhere from an hour to 9 hours. So we are looking at around 50+ Hours to get Styanax and around 5hrs for Hildryn

Because we are talking about newer players, I will go with MR5 because that’s the req(requirement) needed to complete star chart, we will give the hypothetical new player 18,500 of a daily standing ca. The new player will need 240,000 standing to fully unlock reputation with Solaris United(which is necessary to get access to the heists where you get hildryn). With that number in mind, we need to choose a method to get said standing. You can do bounties, farm resources, save Solaris on corpus tilestes, or trade in medallions. You can pick any of the methods pending how renewable it is for you.(Renewable as in how long you can consistently do it without quitting from boredom.) I will go with what is renewable for me, which is resource farming. I will estimate it would take the lei person a couple hours to reach standing cap for the day. But the lack of variety might turn off players to farming her all together. Let’s say our player has found a method to farm standing good enough. The next issue is collecting the correct bonds needed to upgrade rep rank. Being generous, it would take a week of only doing bounties to collect the right bonds for the respective rank. You could also try to use Ticker to get the rare ones near the end of the rep farm, but that takes money and resources, both of which you probably don’t have enough of to buy from him. Once you’ve achieved Old Mate with Solaris United, you now how access to the Hildryn farm. So with a generous estimate I’d guess it would take about a month to achieve Old Mate, pending consistency in the farm toward Hildryn. Now that I’ve explained the time and difficulty of reaching that point that you’ve clearly ignored in your argument, I will also acknowledge your star chart agreement. It recently took me and my wife a week and a half to finish star chart and all the quests up to Veilbreaker. We know based on static dependability that it will take you at most 3 weeks and a couple days at most. That, by the way doesn’t take long to do compared to the reputation grind. So your argument is moot. Now, the variety players who set out to finish the star chart is far greater and significantly more fun compared to the aforementioned tactics to get Hildryn. Renewability is an important factor in thinking about the ease of accomplishing a task in a timely manner. Players on average can play between 3-6 hours on average in one sitting. Assuming they will spend all of their time just grinding for Hildryn will negatively affect the time they end up putting into the game. If you assume a player will spend 15 hours per sitting grinding, you are pulling from a pool of players that is not applicable to the average player. I’m glad you were so lucky as to think Hildryn was as accessible as you think though. Assuming you got her through the F2P route.

Nothing in this game has ever been worth the grind to me. Once I got past basic frames that could easily be farmed by repeatedly killing a boss, I lost interest in those frames and ended up buying them , and guess what? Lackluster and inefficient compared to the previous frames I had obtained. I wasted my money because of not wanting to go through the torture of Star Trek Online, oops , I means Railjack. Not wanting to go through the torture of WoW's daily questing for a month straight to get allied races... Oops, I mean, Warframes. ... Etc.. .
