Where to find LOTS of Australian Coins worth money for Noodling and Coin Hunting

Thanks for the advice. It has given me some great places to get coins. And I just thought of one, the car wash place, as you need coins to wash the car, so they usually have a change machine. I can't wait to start using these places to get more coins. And I happen to be going to the laundromat today, so will change some notes to see what coins I get 🙂

Novice collector,went to my bank to get some rolls. I was rudely told that I wouldn’t find anything as they just recycle their coins and told to use the machine .I did went home and found 12 coins for my collection.some people are just arse holes!thanks for all the great info😊

Glad to hear it’s helpful - yes, banks seem to be clamping down on noodling, so alternative approaches are getting more important for collectors.

Well done. My most exciting finds have come from a friends old mother who passed away and had old travel bags from decades ago she never touched on return, in them I found old paper notes and coins from decades ago buried deep in the pockets. Most were in Mint condition.
