I have a Publisher’s Extra subscription that I split with a family member, I plan to keep it bc while it’s relatively expensive, it’s also very useful. If you’re an NC resident you can get a state library card and get NewspaperArchive for free, you just have to log in through their proxy every time. I bookmarked it to make it easier.

Hi Connie! Google books is a wonderful resource, I don't know if you already talked about it. I'm from Argentina with ancestors in Italy, and also helped friends with ancestors from England and Russia. I discover A LOT in official bulletins. Every day there are new documents available and give you unexpected information. With Google Books I discover my husband's great grand mother bought stock from a new tramway line in Italy in 1909. In Argentina I found a friend's possible grand uncle because the guy was listed as a contractor for a public school. Great source, free and some documents can be downloaded.
