I highly appreciate the effort you put into this video. However, I didn’t find the tips as helpful as I had hoped, especially for unique, exclusive, industry-quality vocals with true storytelling inspired by Martin Garrix, all completely for free. As a bedroom hobbyist EDM producer with zero budget for vocals, do you have any recommendations for free resources or different approaches without any paywall, without making vocal chops, and without having to sing with my own voice if I think it doesn't suit? Thanks!
@dilbydj13 күн бұрын
I think the problem is your expectations. What you are asking for is pretty ridiculous bro.... The vocals in a Martin Garrix or similar track are created by a whole team of people. A songwriter, a singer, a recording engineer, a mixing engineer and probably several producers. These are all different people who have spent years to perfect their crafts and they get paid accordingly. What could possibly give you the idea that you can get that for free??? If you really want it then work hard and make it happen. Get a second job, save money and hire a great vocalist. Go out into your community and try and meet people who you can collaborate with and make sure you are bringing something to the table. If you have no way to get money then actually put in the effort and LEARN to sing. Basically, your attitude kind of sucks and comes off lazy and entitled. You want everything handed to you and expect it should be free and easy. In the real world that's totally unrealistic. Good luck!

Nice video ! I'm currently only using Splice but I'm having a hard time finding great vocals for House/Progressive/Trance. It seems like I'm always digging through the same sample packs. Is there a way to get better search results ?
@dilbydj3 жыл бұрын
You can use filters to narrow the results and change the order that it displays the results. But basically no shortcuts, just listen for hours. Search outside of the Genre you are making. Of the examples I gave one is Deep House and one is Tech House but the loops are categorised on Splice something like one is Soul and the other Trap.

Watching in 2023 and John Summit used that revolution vocal??? Can someone explain??
@dilbydj Жыл бұрын
The vocal is from the track Revolution from around 2000/2001 by an artist called Superchumbo (Tom Stephan). John Submit used the acappella of the original to make the track but then had it resung for the release.

How do you clear a sample that you took from a KZbin video?

@@ConnAndTheThings depends on what the video is, but in the end the answer is basically get permission from the owner if the intellectual property.
