I was surprised that I actually could not find a store that would give out milk crates. But on the other hand, I do understand the companies logic as far as not wanting to continue purchasing more milk crates.

Yes indeed. Got one the other week to make a chair for my kayak out of pool noodles and zip ties, was gonna get a second crate to make a closable crate but 24 bucks plus tax for two milk crates is ludicrous.

Just go to a grocery store at night and drive around the back by the loading docs. They have hundreds of them laying out back.

Pro-Tip: It's illegal and they will prosecute if caught. Those are left for the company to pick back up. Theft is high so they take it seriously with how much money they lose.

PLEASE STOP STARING AT YOURSELF WHILE RECORDING UP CLOSE.. LOOK AT THE LENSE IF YOU'RE TALKING TO US. The thrift store crates are usually company crates too. I prefer oddball crates...short, tall, long, different colors, collapsible, solid sides...etc...I restore and upgrade kayaks, canoes and small watercraft so I need an assortment of crates. TIP: attach rod holders on the inside corner with a single hose clamp about half way down, I use stainless steel clamps.
