Very informative video. Irvine is priced cheaper because two single rooms have to share a bathroom. So a double room at Irvine has one bathroom for the two roommates, the single rooms have a bathroom in between for the two persons to share. Hope that makes sense.

I am applying for UWI faculty of law this year for September but I have no guidance to know how to move around what halls are better since everyone I ask is so biased with their halls I also wanted to see if single rooms were better considering the fact that I am antisocial but sometimes I hate been alone so I wouldn’t know. The common room and kitchen is ok because I didn’t know If it would be too many persons but thank you so much

Hey girlie! Thanks so much for watching! I always recommend single rooms. You’ll be able to get away when you need privacy and alone time to refuel as an introvert. But whenever you need company, your Flatmates are just a few steps away! There were 12 girls on my flat and sometimes we ended up in the kitchen/ common area at the same time but it hardly ever felt “crowded.” I hope this helps!! Best of luck to you on your law journey!!

Hi I love the video, very informative! One question, would you happen to know the halls that are closest to the science building? As I would be studying diagnostic imaging.
@BahaMed4 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for watching! 🙌🏾❤️ I’m not sure if diagnostic imagining is in the sci tech building or in the faculty of med building. If it’s in sci tech- the halls closest would be Marlene Hamilton and 138 phases 1 and 2, Rex and AZ preston (there are many halls tucked away really in the same corner of campus). If it’s in the faculty of med- the closest halls would be towers and Taylor. My advice however, is to just choose the hall you like the most and then take the campus bus to class. Don’t worry about the distance from class! You’ll be spending most of your time on your hall so make every effort to make sure you’re comfortable there! No matter where you live, it won’t take you more than 15 minutes to get to class from anywhere on campus. So don’t worry! 🤗🤗 I hope this helps! 🤗🤗❤️

Hello! Thanks for watching! You’re right. I’m from the Bahamas. Settling in to Jamaica is hard but it’s a quick process because you have no other choice but to adjust quickly loll. Jamaica is fast-moving so you have to be as well. And by the time classes start, she would’ve made friends on hall who are trying to get used to Jamaica as well and they’ll support each other through the transition. Don’t worry, she’ll adjust just fine❤️ but perhaps consider the newer halls like 138 phase 1 (Leslie Robinson hall) or phase 2 (George alleyne hall) or even Irvine hall. I find that international students fare better on those halls. The halls you mentioned might be hard for her to get used to right off the bat. I hope this helps ❤️ praying for her!
