Coconut Grove is a neighborhood of Miami. Coral Gables is a suburb of Miami. South Miami is suburb. Brickell is a neighborhood of Miami. And Dadeland is suburb. You have to tell people that because city and suburbs are two different things.

THANK YOU! I'm an aspiring Miami Law student all the way from Michigan State University and this is really helpful with the research that im doing with regards to planning my big move next year! I'm having a hard time deciding on an area, but as a 1L, I agree that living closer to campus will be the BEST thing.... so Coral Gables or Coconut Grove?
