I like your plans. So I do have a suggestion that maybe you could implement. After watch dozens of KZbin videos from Pi info channel, Old dog new trick, Mike's PI retirement and 20 others they all give great advice on how to make plans to come and retire. However, many expats that come there with there suitcase and cell phone don't have friends or a network once they get settled in. Creating a network of like mind people would help lonely guy from get home sick and depressed. 😊

JJ you can start with T shirts and coffee cups, keep it to your logo , with my logo, I have a KZbin channel as well , ( much smaller than yours) but it’s the same logo for my audio podcast and my blog page . If you want to do something similar to Gio , go for it , your homebase can be BGC and travel outwards if you’re still comfortable, whatever works for you. We have only 1 life to live. You and Gio and Amazing Philippines and life under the sea are all KZbinrs from the Philippines and all bring something different. Do what makes you feel productive and happy we will support your channel

Live in other cities/provinces to fully experience what the Philippines is all about. Consider living in the province as it will give you a much appreciated view of people’s lifestyles that’s far different than BGC.

The US is a first world country, the Philippines is a third world country. Living in BGC will not give you a real view of what the Philippines is about. It’s best to explore the other side of the country.

Now you've just retired and you're already itching, haha. Earning a few bucks on the side doesn't give you any peace either. Is it worth it? What hourly wage do you end up earning? And then in relation to the potential quality of life. It wouldn't be my thing. I firmly believe that as long as you run your YT channel for fun on the side, it will bring you joy. Everything else is YT begging in my eyes. All the others are already doing that.... Listen to your inner voice and then decide! Best regards
