Where To Sell Handmade Items - Locally

Hello. I know of a few places around here that may sell for me. I can't decide what I should be willing to let them make on their end. Any advice? Btw I make pendants that usually stay around the $25 range. Thanks for your time

Hello! We sell through consignment at several galleries where they take anywhere from 25-50% and we have sold to many stores. Depending on the store they either wanted 50% off or as little as 30% off the price we charge online or at the booth. If you were to take off 25-50 percent off your prices would you still be making a profit on your $25 dollar items? If you were to sell 50-60 of these items can you keep up with demand at such a low price? Often in stores the prices can be a little higher since a store can give your items credibility. See if you can offer a line just for stores where the prices are not the same as you would sell yours for in person or online. That way the stores can comfortably charge a higher price.

Also give a store if they're going to buy it outright a discount sometimes is easier for them to see a discount I've had my stuff in several different stores
