@@KeandraWilson My wife was the first runner up Miss California two years ago. She has always known that I have a thing for women wearing glasses. So she promised me that when she stopped competing in beauty pageants she would start wearing glasses eve though she had perfect vision. I had never pushed her about it. A year after the pageant she got great job at a major bank in their credit department and that was the end of pageants for her. She told me she was wanting my help in ordering her very first pair of glasses. She was well aware of the numerous glasses sites and after checking several she found a really cute pair of semi-rimless glasses in a blue gold color. We both knew that the very first day she showed up at work her co-workers would be not only asking lots of questions but also wanting to try her glasses on. So it was necessary to have a weak prescription in them which she didn't have any issue with as long as they weren't too strong for her to see to do her job wearing them. I knew enough about prescriptions to know that she would see just fine wearing a -.50 SPH prescription. Her glasses arrived about 9 days from the date I ordered them. She was actually getting a little excited as she was waiting for her glasses to arrive. She was really quite happy when she got home to see that they had arrived while she was at work. I get home before her so i decided to let her open them when she got home. They were nearly a perfect fit right out of the package. I did adjust the earpieces slightly so they wouldn't slide down her nose. She looked great in them and she really liked them as well. She wore them the rest of the evening to get used to them as we watched TV. She took them off a few times during commercial breaks, but put them back on as soon as the break was over. She wore them as she left for work the next morning. She called me during her lunch break to tell me that everyone was surprised to see her wearing glasses. She didn't tell the=m she was getting glasses. I'm assuming she wanted to be sure she could see okay wearing them. That was 8 months ago and she has been wearing her glasses everyday without fail. Last month she she was driving us to go shopping she took her glasses off and switched to her non-prescription designer sunglasses. But after a few minutes she switched back to her glasses. She said things weren't as clear wearing her sunglasses anymore. She didn't seem upset at all which i was very happy about. So I suggested that we should order her a pair of prescription sunglasses which she readily agree with me. She knows that she no longer has perfect vision, but I think she likes wearing glasses so she doesn't seem to care.
