Cool man, check out the Dragon rasps from Stewart MacDonald luthier supply, they are what I use to carve my guitar necks, really great tool for what you are doing!

It’s made by Auriou and yes it’s hand stitched. This one to two sided 5G/9G. I use it a ton. They are a bit expensive but if you do a bunch of shaping it’s a worthy tool.
