Like all the lazy People (rock musician ) I was crashed in my couch, looking for a music theory channel try to figure out just a little bit what I m doing.(Took me 20 years to get interessed in music basic theory. Lazy guy. Rock musician) I watched lot of music lessons. Learn a little bit, lost a lot. And suddenly Mr Haugen ! I swear this the first time of my life that i make connection with notes, scales and chords. Just amazing ! So clear! This isn't even my language ! In french as you probably know, we do not use letters, but even with this little mind swap to do, this is so clear and cool. Sit properly on my sofa for three days now, guitar on my hands. Thinking about it when I am walking. I"m salivating cause there is still lot a lessons to watch... All this long comment just to say an enormous THANK YOU sir ! A french fan

@@EricHaugenGuitar I am doing Debordian-Lacanian analysis of the metaphysical niceties of every day life. I in no way believe you are made out of delicious caramel in the form of (deliverable onto me) some type of personal distress that may unwillingly step out of you. If its over your head then its over your head. Those are simply modalities of analysis. No need to be thrown of your homostatic state.Usually when something is over my head I just gather literature and proceed to study the material I am interested in. If youtube sends you my way. because its CEOs think you match up to what you claim you have mastered and can deliver then I will take a look at it. If it is good enough I will purchase the pdf. If it does not measure up I look at someone else on youtube etc. I have watched a few videos, purchased a few pdfs, but sorry to tell you that you are not that libidinally relevant aka "do anything and everything" for Haugen and friends agony.

Yeah, it took me a year to get your arrangement of "Goddam Lonely Love" to actually sound like music. I may have bitten off a little too much this time.
