my experience with bangkok apartment is: monthly room is different from daily rent room. tv may not be included., pillow and blanket bring your own and the room may not be as good as daily room. back in 2012, I stayed in an apartment near Huai Kywang MRT for 29 days, the management hide the electricity meter somewhere that prevent me from checking it. And at the end of my stay, they charge me near 5000 baht for power bill plus tax, as I had to rush to the airport I just paid what they asked from. this kind of scam is not unusual in bangkok. so be careful when you rent a place there.

Ten years ago, I worked in the 3xth floor of the tall building in Rama IV road. We always enjoyed our lunch like this. We change our meal from food court, street food, noodle shop to hotel buffet. Now I work in the factory with an hour drive from central Bangkok and always missed that atmosphere.

Recommendation for Mickey and others about finding new apartment in the future. There're several lovely areas that close to BTS/ MRT you could find the hotel/condo/apartment in the affordable price. 1. Huay Kwang MRT (Micky's place) 2. Onnut BTS 3. Udomsuk BTS 4. Tao Poon - Bang PhoMRT 5. Saphan Kwai BTS

Based on your experience, how much is the cost of renting in Bangkok? It's common to find good studio apartments between USD 200 ~ USD 300 like he showed in this video? I'm planning to go to Thailand or Malaysia later this year or next year, but sometimes Airbnb prices sounds too good to be true, and videos might be outdated or something... you know? Good to talk about more people living in the place or with experience in the area before taking the decision.
@libroom98632 жыл бұрын
@@JacksonBenete It's possible to find places at 200-300 USD/ month. Mostly with 1 year contract and 2 months deposit. 200 USD you have to look at the serviced apartment. It will come in the studio room 22-25 Sq. M. Not much of the facility, just a room with TV and A/C. 300 USD you could rent the condominium (of course a small studio or 1 bedroom type 22-25 Sq.m) around the mentioned area. Condominium often come with TV, Microwave, Laundry Machine. Tao Poon - Bang Pho (walking distant from MRT subway) /Huaykwang (Long walking distant or need to take motorbike service but Huaykwang is a new CBD area of Bangkok) are the most possible areas to find the cheap price.
