Depends on if u really want relax and huge swimming pool choose beach house. If you just want room for sleep and work with wifi choose hotel cus good bed ,gym , swimming pool think about if u exercise everyday u add budget 1000-1500 bht. Hope u can find good place.

A long time ago, I rented a house for 5000 baht , deposit 10000 baht for 6 months , and when the time came the whole house was not damaged. He does not return money. Five years ago I rented another house for 6000 baht, deposit 12000 baht for a year, and again the house wasn't damaged but he took the deposit. For me, those deposits are not for damages. But it's an exploit. No matter what, the owner of the house will never return it to us. But so be it the main thing is that I really enjoyed your Koh Samui trip. It's full of stories struggle I respect you for being able to overcome all those obstacles. I want to buy a drink I want to support you, but covid is causing me to lose my job. Of course I'm sad but your wonderful journey made my day.

The beach is incredible. Quiet and beautiful sunsets. You seemed to really like the gas stove option and the Italian bath at the previous location. It’s very quiet too. I suggest you choose which one resonates with your senses the most. The new rules in Thailand of video taping others seems to be a non-issue. What matters most is us seeing and hearing your enthusiasm. You are an incredible on camera personality.

I agree the last one is the prefect place to enjoy the beach and sunset, you don't need to go anywhere for that - just open the window or walk out of the apartment, plus it's amazingly quiet!

The one with the most comfortable bed for you! 🤣 All of them had their own pros and cons. The last one was beautiful but a bit isolated, unless that’s something you want! Some of them may not have the view or ambiance but they were closer to town and amenities. All of them could be excellent choices! ❤️ Thanks for showing us! I vote for the last one! The decor is beautiful, kitchen is nice with induction cooktop and it is by the beach! Detox the body and mind by looking at the ocean everyday. I hope it isn’t too far away from food/market.

Beach house Mickey. Buy a mattress topper to soften the bed. I love soft bed like you do and need silence when sleep. I think the beach house - with that price is a steal. You can walk along the beach or run daily - and the sunset. To have it in front of you at your disposal daily - wow 🤩

Pros and cons on all of them. The last beach house has the best view but too isolated. Also realized that there are no street lights along the way there, so it might be super dark riding back at night.(Safety is an issue, at least for me.) The second house on Baan Suan Tip has the best value. It's got everything you need with a great price. A whole house to yourself seems private enough as well. And best of all, it has a superb location.

The location with the pool and well equipped gym would be better for a longer stay.. I believe that was Samui City Hotel. But for a short term 1 month gotta be the place at the end of the trail where it meets the Ocean. Thanks for the virtual tour.

Very good vlog, you are doing exactly what I do about finding decent affordable accommodation for a month or so. Excellent info, yes a kitchen is essential, I love to cook my own food, I’ve got used to the hard beds, if I sleep on a soft mattress I get backache, we are all different! I used to stay in Lamai when I was younger, it’s more relaxing than Chaweng but now I like the area around Bophut!

@@roygoad2870 Yes, you're right, Lamai is very quiet now (btw the new road there is just fantastic!), and more locals live in Maenam/Nathon area - prices are lower, many fresh/street food markets, plus it's a sunset side!

Hi, bro. My vote goes to Baan Suan Tip. Left this place 1 month ago and was staying there for 4 months. That is a perfect place to stay on Samu. Very good location -- 3 big supermarkets, Baam gym and lots of muay thai training camps around (even Russian one, check Tom Muay Thai). Easy to get to the university street with all its cafes and Central Festival. First house you visited is actually mine. It's a bit noisy because of live music cafe on the opposite side of the road, but for me, it was fine. Owners are extremely hospitability and willing to help you with any of your problems. But the main reason I like this place is minimalism. Everything is fancy and no extra things in the room. Easy to keep it clean. Maybe the only problem is lacking a good working place if you work with the computer. Price is greate ofc.

Definitely that last one at the beach, you will have some noise, but who can complain about the sound of the waves? sunset view.. On a bad note the sofa and bed didn't look super comfy. You got your bike for going places anyway, so its fine that its a bit off the beaten path. 2nd choice would be Fisherman's village one, you have walking distance to all kinds of amenities. Great vid as always, looking forward to seeing more of Koh Samui. One of the few places i haven't been to in Thailand.

For me the one near Fisherman Village, I was on Bo Phut 2 years ago and I liked the vibe there. It's full of shops, restaurants and there's everything, Coco Tams included. I know it's not your kind of place, but I used to go for a cup of coffee late in the afternoon and it was really nice on the beach and you could enjoy the sunset. But you are a biker and you can choose the beachfront villa outside Mae Nam and go to the Fisherman Village in a moment. For sure the place on the beach is the most beautiful one and looks very relaxing and it's the place for fantastic sunset! Thanks for all the informations you shared and for the nice vlog!

What a great treasure trove of research! You have convinced me to stay a month in Samui, maybe starting September. My vote is evenly divided between the Breeze Beach House and Samui City Hotel. On the latter, the huge pool and fitness center are a real draw. On the former, obviously that beach and sunset!

hey mickey, the last house near the beach is the perfect accommodation for you to live for a month. it is complete already with a good kitchen that you are looking for, with the tranquility of the beach in front of that place.... plus the price is excellent considering its 10k for a month... you got a good place with the peace of the beach, good for swimming, jogging, walking and even meditating...if I were you I will choose that one, the perfect island beach feel.... Loved this episode. I’ve spent almost 4 months on Samui in the last 2 years and I always stay at Llamai. Excellent research as I’m about to go back next month. Personally I would go for the house at Fisherman’s Village for the simple reason you’re within walking distance to the beach and some fantastic restaurants. It’s close to Big Buddha and not far from Chawaeng. The last apartment on the beach was nice but you’re far away from any night life or shops.

In 2015 i went to seahorse diving for my scuba diploma. Got it in 2 days. Total cost for PADI incl accommodation and food (for my girl too) was $240. Naked jump from the high platform in a fully loaded discobar/pool included.
