BAHRI hair salon - THE BEST hairdresser you’ll ever experience. Not saying that bc she’s my friend , and Melbourne Australia, lost a good hairdresser… (still mourning after 6 years lol) but bc she is THE REAL DEAL. I’m so excited to see her salon in This doco. Unexpected bonus haha

Thanks for highlighting these livable areas that tourists usually miss. I was there briefly some years ago, and never realized the hilly character (which I like) of the more inland areas. Hoping to revisit some day, for a longer stay.

Yes - I hope you get to revisit and discover more of this wonderful city!

Thank you for showing us different neighbourhoods. It all looks very nice. It would definitely be a great city to base yourself, especially with the efficient train station and now a new airport. Salerno is a convenient, manageable small city 😊

Hi I enjoyed your video and plan to visit Salerno this month. Can I suggest you check your audio. The volume is very inconsistent throughout the video requiring me to keep my finger poised on the volume button so as not to blast the neighbours. Looking forward to more of your quality content.🙂

Apart from the traffic, Salerno looks a pretty city if we consider that it's a Southern one; plus you chose a wonderful day to shoot the video.

Yes it’s a really pretty city for sure! I was very lucky with the weather!

I stayed kitty corner from bar della rosa ! The walk down to the beach is fine , it's walking 🚶♀️ back up that was a toughie. What was cool for me was returning to bar verdi after 35ish years. I thought paying 20 thousand lire (15 euro!) in amalfi was super pricey...

Amalfi is ridiculous for the cost of things for sure!

I am a surprised at the level of graffiti shown in the video. I'm sure it's a lovely city which I will be visiting it in another week, but it looks depressed to me. Are all the towns and cities along the Amalfi coastline like this? I've been to Tuscany several times and I don't remember seeing buildings that were seemingly falling apart with tons of graffiti on them. The Tuscany towns were gorgeous and very inviting.

No not all of the towns along the Amalfi are like this - but I will say that graffiti/street art (as it is in some places) is quite common in south Italy. That said though, don’t worry Salerno is a beautiful place!

@@MsBritaly Thanks for the reply and reassurance. Leaving next week and I’m looking forward to seeing this part of Italy.

This video came a bit late for me as I"m booked near the port at the top of the long walk....
@MsBritaly8 ай бұрын
Yes, it's a bit of a walk. The area around the port isn't the best, especially at night, so just be aware.
