Nice video mate . Been looking for a thorough tour of these beasts. I’m too poor to purchase one, but building my own camper atm taking inspiration from the exp-4. A must for me is an indoor shower /toilet and I’ve somehow managed to figure out the space lol

We were lucky im pretty sure thats like number 6 or something ever built the cost of them jumped significantly since then as has everything else in life

@@donniesgarage do you remember how much you paid ? Before seeing the trailer of the badass suspension I thought it was well overpriced, but the thing is a machine. By far the most aesthetic too

i believe 80K AUD at the time, like i said though they were Very experimental then and that was pre covid destroying economies everywhere lol

Good on mate looks like a cool rig, how much extra fuel do you use when towing?

normally 2L per 100 extra if tyres are at right pressure otherwise it can be worse in the Discovery. I havent towed it much with my ranger to know its rate

Tell me, does it piss you off, that the fridge door opens the way it does? Personally I think that it should open the other way so you’re not wrestling with the door when you’re cooking.

I’ve never really noticed too much. Does that dometic have a reverseable door? I cant recall

@@donniesgarage I believe that it does and last year when I was at the Bruder showroom they said something about the icebox being the deciding factor but I can’t for the life of me, understand why they would want to hinge it on the right, like it is.

@@petergair4726 the icebox is certainly removeable although we found that then the top of the fridge would just ice up so although it gave a little more room we would regularly have to de-ice the top.

well now they are 100k ours came in around 80 when we bought it. Most other campers in the same offroad realm are quite pricey as well

@@donniesgarage when I first approached them it was going top cost me $56000 and then was way too much. I know exactly how they are made and the cost and I can tell you they are making a killing on these.
