Same here, and yet so many Golds (cough cough the Bellonas) turned this natural product of their ruthless civilisation into a personal slight. Come on guys, don't hate the player.

True that. You’d think that maybe the Golds would treat their own children a little better than their own slaves but NO. To them everyone is just an expendable extension of the Aureate. If I could meet Romulus au Raa I would tell him any parent that would send his children to a hellhole school like that is a terrible parent nevertheless. Any Parent with absolute bravery would rather die then send their sons and daughters to that kind of place.

@@muthias4582 Yeah it's weird, despite the self-importance a lot of these Golds have, they have a very collective mentality where even the best individuals should sacrifice and die for the benefit of their kind. That's what characters like Roque always gave me the impression of anyway. Aw, even Fitchner? To be fair, it's the only place to send your kid if you want them to find even moderate success in this world. Even if the parents don't like the system that makes it so, there's probably little they could do to change it. I guess that's what makes Fitchner even better.

​@Where Daydreamers Go I imagine it must have been such emotional torment for Fitchner to watch kid after kid culled off. Also my comment was mainly directed at Romulus not Fitchner. But I know he would die for Sevro but he has the entire rebellion to worry about. Oh and Merry Christmas.
