After my dad died recently, people brought over all kinds of food and someone brought boxes of different kinds of the "CAKES IN A CUP". I ALMOST wish I'd never known about them because they're TOO easy and fattening...but sooo yummy!!! They only take a little over a minute to cook, and if you like your brownies a little on the gooey side (like I do), then you add just a few extra drops of water. TOO GOOD!!! 😁😁😁

Hi Karen, since you're new to the world of retinols, I hope you don't mind some unsolicited advice. Retinols increase your sun sensitivity, so if you're using retinols at night, be sure to consistently use a good sunscreen during the day!

OK, I will have to wait months before I go to a Sephora to smell the foundation (I don't live in the US), but if you are looking for a grassy scent, and should it still exist, try the Marc Jacobs "Grass" scent cologne. It's from about nine (yes, NINE) years ago, but if they don't make it anymore, perhaps they have something similar... I have the "Rain" scent and abso love IT. --- Ha ha, the best part of the video is that "Cake in a cup" dance in the last minute :-p Hey, I am all for getting excited about food I love. For me it's mint icecream. I would definitely break into my happy dance at the sight of it!

I bought rapidlash because Lisa recommended rapidbrow (my brows are fine). My lashes kept falling out in chunks so I had huge gaps that didn't look very attractive.. Now they rarely fall out and gained 2-3mm length! I love it :) (And like Karen said it takes longer than a month.) P.S.: There are a lot of cake in a cup recipes on the internet, you can even put the unbaked cake in the cup in the freezer and take it out whenever you like ;) I recently made chocolate cake where the middle was still liquid, so so delicious!!

Karen, could you do a video on shapewear or about bras and best undergarments? I have been steadfastly loosing 4-6 lbs. Per month . I am terminally ill and I need to know where to find or brands to look for for shapewear. Bras that hold in the girls and create a smooth look in smaller sizes. Since Feb 2018 until now July 2018 I have gone from a size 18/20 to a size 6/8. I am still steadily dropping weight. Can you suggest anything to help keep everything in its place so to speak?

It’s funny, my friend gave me that IT sunscreen/foundation because it also matches my complexion. Her cousin received them as samples so I had no idea if it was drugstore or a Sephora product, no clue. I just love it. I never smelled it until u said to, but it has a light botanical “spa” smell. It’s fantastic, but I also end up putting regular sunscreen because it is very much a foundation and I don’t want coverage all over, not sure if that makes any sense. Anyway I’ve also started using the Korean double cleansing technique which has help take my skin texture to another level to achieve that glow.

KarenBritChick what color are you using on the IT foundation? A double cleanse means you first cleanse with an oil based product then clean with a water based product.

Yes Girl, what Diane said, you use a oil cleanser first to pull off the makeup and it goes DEEP into your pores, then you use the sudsy product to clear the oil (and makeup) away. I mean, you're in NY too, they have Korea town and NJ (Palisades Park) where you can visit the Face Shop, there's also the book based on the Korean way of face washing - like multiple steps that includes exfoliation,mask sheet, essence and serum. The Little Book of Skincare By Charlotte Cho, who owns Soko Glam. I don't do all the steps, as I love my other non-Korean products too!

The cake....the cake.........!!!!!!As someone who used to make devil's food with chocolate/cream cheese frosting and what my family called "flat cake" with coffee/chocolate icing, I am so on the cake thing! But if I still ate like that I'd be back to 200+ pounds. How you eat those mouth-watering plates of eggs and burgers and Michael yummies and are still a size 6-8.......you must have the metabolism of an endurance runner. Mine is apparently sloth-like.

I cut my long hair off super short, I use to straighten it or slick it back in a bum. This is the first time in over 35 years that I’m wearing my hair natural.
