i believe that titanic and mars probably split the rights to their shit when they split and they had a deal where titanic got to keep the set, his editing software, his camera, etc. and mars kept the rights to the music and videos because it is, after all, under her own name. this way, they were able to do whatever they wanted, and this obviously allowed titanic to continue making internet videos. he doesn't have access to the files simply because she has them and doesn't owe him them. some of mars argo's other influences are the beatles, air, the beach boys, blur, grandaddy, and madonna, among many others. they have your standard "hipster"'s taste in music, i.e. a wide range from thru-out pop culture. very good choices, tho. also, not trying to plug my channel or anything, but i have every grocerybag video currently on youtube on my hard drive, as well as ALL of poppy and titanic's videos, and will upload anything that gets taken down or becomes hard to find. i currently have AMANITA and Endless from Katai's youtube on my channel already. i recommend downloading them yourself. really great video, and yours is one of the few youtube channels that allow us to view these long-removed internet micro-masterpieces. thank you.

As someone who discovered Mars Argo back in 2009, watched all of their acoustic videos, listened to their songs and watched the computer show videos, I think it's quite obvious that when Mars and Titanic split up, Poppy became the evolution of Titanic's work. Back in the computer show, Mars and Titanic used to both appear on the videos. Mars was the cutesy, childlike character, and Poppy's is the same, just much more deliberate. Titanic isn't in the videos anymore and Titanic was able to pinpoint the direction he wanted to take in his videos. Computer show was the experimental stage, where you saw Titanic try different ideas to find his specific niche. Poppy is the niche he found. It really isn't all that much of a mystery really, it's just a director trying to figure out how he wants to display his work. That's why Poppy's videos are all similar, because Titanic found the formula he wants to use.

I can only see Titanic when I am watching or listening to these videos from Mars or Poppy. I would not consider them as individuals but a part of a project which has a linear plan. These products has a slightly different personalities and music. We can feel more 'humanity' in Mars (gives reason to be a Mars fan) and that's why I consider her a lower step of the project, it gives the feeling of evolving when we arrive to Poppy's emptiness. And the music, well yeah. slightly different but so avarege both of them, but that is the whole point, making an easily consumable product. I would consider myself a Titanic fan because I like the whole idea but for me this Mars or Poppy stuff is exactly look like Britney breakdown switching to Miley parody.
