@AlJayWright compare her body language to interviews where she actually does have the upper hand. Especially watch the part where he asks what percent of 17.4mil people she thinks would be racist and xenophobic. She looks seconds away from a full-blown panic attack, and her cheeks progressively flush as the interview goes on from that point. This is a woman who was embarrassed, panicking, fidgeting, and well out of her depth. As soon as she made that comment about racists and xenophobes, you can identify the moment Johnson realises he's dealing with a bad faith interviewer and starts demolishing her in response - even mimicking her exaggerated gestures and forward lurches on occasion

God she's still as awful as I remember, but at least on radio we didn't have to watch her throwing her arms around. But the interruption and talking over her "interviewee" is tedious and anything but invigorating..it just got more annoying as it went on.. good natured Boris just put up with it but the 'personal' stuff should be out of bounds for interviews such as this. I suggest, however, you watch the Australian 60 Minutes interview with Tara Brown as well as it was a more watchable, intelligent and informative. I'll buy the book. He convinced me it's a worthwhile read.
