Thank you TM, C4, KG-M. To TM my late son loved your work and would have enjoyed this interview.

I think Tim, we can all be kind to one another (a broad term but for me this feels like civility, decency and the golden rule) while also not condoning or allowing the seeds of hate to grow. In my country a rapist will be president. It doesn’t matter how kind I am, people I know who have been raped have to try and weather this unimaginable outcome in what should be a modern democratic republic. Kindness is good for many things, we also must have a strong and steady course that does not allow truly bad people from dominating us.

I don't think we're bad at long-term thinking at all. It just requires co-ordination and personal trade-offs, and no one wants to be first to sacrifice

e are not always able to access our capacity to be kind so at least we might try not to be unkind. This, in itself, would make a big difference. Love thy neighbour? Its a high bar. At least: commit to doing no harm.

Hey Tim, if you ever want to leave the UK cities and get out into the real world, would you do a gig with my Somerset based retro rock band? You’d be great and certainly not in any pigeon hole!

And then did you wake up and galvanise yourself in order to share that somnolence with the rest of us? (I'm afraid I can't share Tim's tolerance with ignorance and stupidity, although I am impressed by his forbearance.)

@shoelessjoe428 Because we don't need to be lectured to by any more celebs. He'll just end up halving his audience for no good reason.

But are the people you have labeled bigots truly that or do you just don’t want to hear a different view point from the one your used to on a daily basis .
@ravens-crypt16 сағат бұрын
I’m not saying that sometimes you don’t encounter bigots in life you do but to throw that label around means it loses all its power.
@Bungle-UK16 сағат бұрын
Exactly….what he really means is other people have different opinions to him and he can’t deal with it.
@dannyquinn912812 сағат бұрын
No, "bigot" has a very specific meaning.
