In the fourth episode of the ISN Podcast series, we are excited to welcome Vineet Saraiwala, the founder and CEO of Atypical Advantage, as our guest.
Saraiwala launched Atypical Advantage during the COVID-19 pandemic, driven by a personal experience that made him realize the gap in opportunities for people with disabilities.
After struggling to hire a voice-over artist and a model with a disability for a leading corporate, Vineet envisioned a platform where anyone with a disability could showcase their talent and easily connect with potential employers. What started as an idea has become a reality.
Today, Atypical Advantage is India’s largest platform helping people with disabilities find meaningful work. Through its online platform, people with disabilities can find jobs, book awareness workshops and events and buy artwork.
Vineet's mission is clear: to shift mindsets and encourage corporates, individuals, and agencies to focus on talent first, and then the disability. What’s even more impressive is that, in just three years, Atypical Advantage has worked with over 300 corporations. It has also earned the startup the prestigious National Startup Award in the Social Impact category, awarded by the Union Government.
