Your skin totally did a 180. I’m definitely on a skin care journey as well and currently suffering from hormonal breakouts too. It’s improved tremendously, but it’s still a work in progress

Omg we have the same problem, but I need dairy in my diet. Sugar overdose, you're absolutely correct. The same happens to me. I do this: I drink a lot water as soon as I eat something sweet

Yes!!! I got a sweet tooth and slowly I’m trying to curb it. But I notice making sure I go in with drinking water when ever I’ve eaten anything sweet definitely helps!

Not really. Hormones are a big part of skin problems for women. Men not so much because you don't have a 28 day Cycle. Water is great but you still need treatment for discoloration and texture

I’m glad you told your acne history because I’m going through the same thing! I have all hormonal acne and I’m trying to find a solution to it. I do need to cut back on dairy because I think it plays a part as well. It’s a battle wit my acne cuz one min my skin is doing good then I’ll have a bad breakout out of nowhere. I just want to get to a point where I can go out wit no makeup and feel free. For now though, I’m still on the search but this helped.

You’re so pretty! No offense but that lemon peel scrub probably has really good chemical exfoliating ingredients in it and works well but that dead skin your seeing isn’t actually your skin being exfoliated off it’s just marketing. The way the product is formulated makes it look like it’s coming off. Cassandra Bankson recently did a “ Election Day Stress Sephora Video” and she bought a similar product. She rubbed it on a latex medical glove and it did the same exact thing on that.

Ok question did you go to a dermatologist in regards to your skin care routine and did they recommend these products to you? How did you find the right combination of products for your skin?

I went to a dermatologist. They gave me aczone to use in the morning after my cleanser and differin at night. The aczone barely did anything and the differin was too strong.

Differin would burn my face cause dry spots and scar worse than my original hyperpigmentation. I couldn’t use it everyday at night as recommended because it was too awful. The aczone was fine but it barely did anything.

I am now using Tretinoin to see if that works better for me.

I'm also react to sugar, my skin breaks out like crazy if I have anything too sweet. I have to investigate the dairy connection b/c I'm lactose intolerant so the cheese might be an issue as well...

My skin did the same thing I have pcos and my skin has been tied to my allergies. Not just allergic reactions, I mean not taking my allergies meds and ill get pimples.
