Which 2024 Mazda CX-30 is Best For You?

Our 2021 CX-30 just had it's 3rd birthday. In 2021, the 30 had little competition in the subcompact SUV market. It's a more competitive market today which makes choosing a more difficult decision. Ours has been flawless so we're happy owners. Just have to know what's important to you after the newness wears off.

Got my 2024 carbon 2.5s and I feel like it's the best trim, no power lift gate (slow), no turbo (mpg, maintenance, heat), red leather, good amount of tech, unique color combo.

If I may make a suggestion for your videos. You move quickly from one model or trim level to the next… my suggestion would be as you are describing - touring each model put the year, make and model on the screen. In this video we looked at several cars that were the same exterior color… hard to see which one you are describing. This is something which, I believe, can be added using the KZbin studio which is free with your channel. Just a thought…

Yes it does have rear cross traffic. Unfortunately, I haven’t experienced snow driving personally. However, the standard all wheel drive should make it fairly pleasant in snow.

The huge black cladding of cx30 is its biggest downside in terms of design aesthetics. Not even an off-road machine. It would be a lot cooler when they turn it into bulging wheel arch with minimal cladding

Exactly! I’m going to either buy this or the Lexus UX. The cladding is an incredible turn off. It’s hard to see past it.

At least you don't have to worry about it rusting or rock chips on the lower section of the bodywork and if the tires sling tar onto the plastic molding it's easier to remove from the plastic and you don't have to worry about paint damage from removal of the tar.

Hey Jonathan. I wanted to ask - does Mazda have plans to enable ALH (matrix headlights) on previous year Mazdas via software update? My '21 CX-30 has signature front lighting and I can see the individual led beam pattern that ALH requires. But we only have hi and lo beams.
