Nigeria and SA are the top two then Congolese then Ghana then Tanzania . My critic below Aforbeats as a genre is doing great however they should not lose sigt of the local genre which df flavor . I personally love it when there is an infusion of fuji, highlife, the shekere and talking drums.. thats what gives that uniqueness.. they should not lose that in thier Fusion experiments. I would love to see more Nigerian local music infuses love what Kacee is doing with the Oja flute My Problem with amanpiano is while it is a bomb beat but when it is the primary part of the song without the melodies it can get meh!. its great for like for a DJ jump, Rave , hyping , film soundtrack, Club environment . Not really palatable (for me ooh) for chilling and relaxing at home. I love thier more traditional sounds the are fantastic vocalists, one of the best and when the focus more on melodies no just beats. Ghana has this local feel good vibe but struggle with consistency you have to give back to back hits. If few and far btw it doesn't keep the tempo up. They also have to stop CONSTANTLY comparing themselves with others and work on themselves. Congolese is banging and gets you to your feet but it is so Monotonous .. its the same the same same dance and tone since thy kingdom come.. the need to switch things up a bit. They luckbthey have is the the music just makes you wanna dance but it is just too Monotonous The end of my unsolicited critic😅😅😅

@@albah289 Yes language is a big barrier in music. Most people know more spanish than French. Spanish is more spoken than French. Way more. Here in America(USA) spanish music is played everywhere. Spanish artists from different countries are known here. On the other hand, not one French artist is known here. Even in Europe, apart from France, and Belgium, Spanish music does better than French music. So yes, our music is limited by language but the quality of music is the only reason we stay in the business. Because Americans or English people can’t listen and vibe to Congolese music because they don’t understand what is being sang. They prefer nigerian music, SA music which has English in it. That’s why Burna Boy, Rema, and Tems from Nigeria are popping. That’s why Tyla from South Africa is popping now because of her “Water” song.
