Delta is my favourite. The staff seems genuinely happy to be there, and I am treated extremely well. They might cost a little more, but it is well worth it. I've flown through Atlanta a few times. It's good to live near an airport that is a hub of one of the major airlines. This means that you can get direct flights to all the major and many of the smaller airports. That is my situation, living in Central New Jersey, Newark Liberty is where I fly in and out of and I fly United almost exclusively. The downside is that the United terminal is the most crowded at Newark and drop-offs, pick-ups and TSA are always busy or beyond busy and you have to make extra time for everything, especially for TSA, where the line and wait can be nightmarishly long and stressful when trying to make it to the gate in time.

I feel like southwest should classify Orlando mco as one of their main bases, they occupy 25% of the airport and is the largest carrier at mco in terms of amount of gates they occupy.
