Yes! There was this whole arc about Dave Rygalski being Lane's one true love. It would have been very weird to recast, but I would have to agree it would be better than writing out the entire Dave character and changing Lane's whole arc. Also, I think we can all agree that Lane deserved better.

Its so nice to hear someone finally talking about Jess as the guy he was, when they were actually dating: He was a shithead. He never called, he just left, he was rude to everyone, didnt even write to Rory after leaving, and worst of all: Attempted SA. Rory says "no" or "wait" three or four times - and he does not stop, until she manges to stop. Red flag right there. Found this pretty fun, though I think a tier thing would have been better to use. And finally: Have you guys thought of doing this with other tv series?

I don’t get how anyone could think Jess and Rory were ever more fun than Logan and Rory and I would say Jess was the healthiest relationship in Year in the Life, but so toxic in the actual show.

Rory and Jess were dysfunctional during the relationship but I think it was an appropriate amount for two kids who weren't ready to be in love. She didn't trust Jess enough, and in return he had an even harder time communicating with her. At the core they had a real connection, and usually motivated each other. The "leave yale and be with me" request was one of two very out of character actions.

I think Rory and Logan are by far the most naturally spontaneous and fun couple on the show. I would put them as far right for that as I could and slightly above the healthy line. If you take out the affair they are having in Year in the Life and him sleeping with the bridesmaids, he treats her so well for the most part, but millennials might not see that because he is kind of old world about some things. However, he doesn’t discourage Rory from thriving in her own work endeavors.

I am curious if the people who hate Lane and Zach together have ever been married? Real life is supporting each other in day to day things. Most people don’t end up being rock stars. I think Rory wasn’t valuing everyday things enough and that Lane and Zach learned to balance everyday life/love with a love of music.

I think Luke and Lorelai had a healthier relationship than where you put them. It took them a while to come around cause I think they’re just both very avoidant people when it comes to relationships. They’re always backing away or just really scared of commitment. I don’t think they were toxic towards each other, things just were slow because of how they are as characters but they are so good for each other. You can’t deny that!

Babette and Morey are one of the best and most healthy Gilmore Girls couples! To add to Richard and Emily: how Richard would just sit back and allow his mother to bully Emily - and at some points even laugh along, was awful.

Nicole was taylor lawyer but Luke is taylors landlord. Taylor was putting in the shop. I watch gilmore girls everyday lmao. I personally like Lane and Dave more than zach. Dave is so sweet. Lane was talking about visiting. Jason is extremely boring and i didn’t like him. Tj also put a big whole in lorelai house. I love paris and doyle . Last year i was sleeping with the editor and this year i am . Lmao 😂. Chris is the worst i don't like him. He is whiny, he is trash. Throw him away. Fun fact about Tj. His dad is uncle mortimer in Sabrina the teenage witch and his brother is jerry russo in wizards of waverly place. I didn’t like Dean. He has some characteristic of Christopher. Which if you think about it her seeing her moms relationship. Im team Jess always team Jess. I feel like Jess is a younger version of luke until jess grew up. I hate max he is in second behind jason for me. Logan and rory early early on i think they didn't know how to have a healthy relationship. I love Sookie and Jackson are cute . I didn’t like Ana but she is Aprils mom. But she is also played the person who dated jess's dad. Oh god Penilyn lot. I watch this show every single day. Him being phased out! Marriage wise they are solid except when his mom comes to town. He lets her just talk to Emily so bad.
