Wouldnt 10 degree grab more wood and cut deeper than 8 degree?

Not necessarily, an 8 degree blade has a more upright tooth, which is deeper penetration into the wood. This allows each tooth to pull more wood out of the cut for faster cutting speeds. Give me a call and ask for Robert for a more detailed explanation.

I own the AC-36 mill and don't remember if I've asked. Are your blades M2 high speed steel?

It is an in house secret as to the steel blend that we use, however it is not M2. 😉
